Hi, I'm Sergio Montero

I am an Infrastructure & Operations Engineer based in Spain, currently navigating the fascinating world of cloud-native systems and automation. My mission is to build systems that are not just functional, but resilient, secure, and future-proof.

My Technical Journey

Currently, I work as a Jr. Infrastructure & Operations Engineer, where I've honed my problem-solving skills and learned the importance of reliability in production environments. This role has been the perfect launchpad for my deeper exploration into SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) and DevOps.

The "Cortinel" Lab

I created this space as my personal laboratory. In the fast-paced world of IT, I believe that learning in public is the best way to solidify knowledge. Here, I document my progress in three main pillars:

• Orchestration: Deep diving into Kubernetes (pursuing CKA/CKS).
• Automation & IaC: Streamlining workflows with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD.
• The AI Frontier: Investigating how AI and LLMs can enhance monitoring and incident response.
